Gift Idea: Women do not lose the thread painting

Before narrating the menu my shetlandaise equipped, short break with a new topic. We barely left the start behind as already looming on the horizon the holiday season. Much to do it in advance and leave it lying gift ideas knitting ... the time it matures and December will already be there!

I just discovered that there was a book that brings together graphic representations of women spin, knit or sew. Apparently it belongs to a series of books (there are also women who read, women who write, etc..) Supervised by German art historians. This book is the work of Thomas Blisniewski and does not seem to have been translated into French or English, but is easily found in German under the title Frauen, die den Faden in Hand halten ("Women who take the strings ", lit." which take their son in the hand ") in Elizabeth Sandmann Verlag or English under the title Mujeres que no pierden el hilo (" women do not lose the thread ") at Maeva.

One can leaf through Amazon.de (click on "Hier klicken Blick ins Buch", attention is not compatible with all browsers) or see some pictures on the blog Siguiendo el hilo English .

How Much Does It Cost To Dye Hair At Jcpenney

Back

Back from trip, back on this blog, one that led to another.

In fact, I'm back to a place in the world where museum guides are dressed like this:

Yes, I return the Shetland Islands. How not to want to resume his hands and his tricoblog after that? I

stuff to tell you and show you. I'll try to do it in small increments.

Note: I did not even think to take pictures of staff Shetland Museum . So I rummaged on their site and finally found this photo on their bulletin Unkans No. 11. It's not good, I know. If my memory serves, the vests have been created for the museum by Wilma Malcolmson of Shetland Designer .
