Endy Chavez signed an agreement of the minor leagues with the Texas Rangers. After being wounded in July 2009 with the Mariners, he signed a contract with the Rangers in 2010. His right knee surgery, however, required a longer convalescence than expected, it was limited to 31 at bats in the minors. He will try his luck again this year.
