Very bad news this morning when we learned the death of Woodie Fryman, age 70 years. Fryman, extremely friendly during his two stints with the Expos, as far as a starter than as a reliever, is part of the folklore of the Expos.
He died in his hometown in Kentucky, where he returned after his career as a farmer. He grew tobacco.
